From the navigation menu, you can add new products to the system. You can attach a logo and preview images when adding the product/service.

A product can either be:

  1. Tangible – A physical item that can be perceived by the sense of touch. For example a phone
  2. Intangible – An item that does not have a physical nature, as opposed to a physical item. For example downloadable music, mobile apps or virtual goods used in virtual economies. Their quantity is definitely unlimited.

Is sellable? – If Yes, the product will be available to customers to place orders. If No, the product will be visible to only to those with permission to Manage Products.

Warranty and Reorder Point are only available to tangible products only.

For tangible products you have to specify their quantity when adding. This enables you to keep control of your stock. From the product navigation menu, you can update stock of the product by clicking Edit Quantity link

Note: Tangible products which are out of stock cannot be used when creating entries. You need to update stock to include them.
